Waking up with Bonnie Girl

Mornings at the orphanage are my most favorite time of day. Just as the sun begins to make its way above the rolling purple sky, when all is still calm and the cool of the morning is at its peak. This is when I feel the delight that comes from sharing this life with these primates that have become like family.

Bonnie girl is a ten year old Java Macaque. She came to the orphanage in January of this year.
